How we use AI, in plain words.
This page is the public reference for how Mimesi uses AI. Our profiles, our contracts and our replies to press and platforms link here. If something on it is unclear, write to us.
How we declare the AI
- Every synthetic image, video or audio is labelled, on the content itself, with a visible mark. The same label appears on this site wherever a synthetic image or video is shown.
- The profile says it. Each creator’s profile states that a digital twin is used and links to this page.
- We use the platforms’ tools where they exist, such as Instagram’s AI label, in addition to our own.
- Real content is not labelled as AI. A photo or video that was shot is a photo or video that was shot. The label means what it says.
- The law. From 2 August 2026 the transparency obligations of Article 50 of the EU AI Act apply. Synthetic images, audio and video that realistically resemble existing people must be declared. The law calls this kind of content a “deepfake”: AI-generated content that resembles real people, places or events and could appear authentic. A digital twin is a deepfake in that sense, which is exactly why we label it. For the mark we follow the icons of the European Code of Practice on AI-generated content as they are published.
Creator consent
- No digital twin exists without the creator’s written consent, which sets purposes, channels and duration.
- The creator approves every piece of content before publication.
- The creator can revoke consent. The agreement sets the time within which the twin is switched off and what happens to content already published.
- This website collects no biometric data. The application form asks for name, email, links, country, language, area of content and motivation. Photos, videos and voice samples are collected only after a written agreement.
Levels of product evidence
We distinguish between what a creator has actually used, what rests on verified product information, and what is illustrative. The AI never invents experiences of use, test results or evidence. When content shows a product, the words about it come from real use or from information the brand provides and we can check.
The detailed evidence levels come from the operational paper of the PUNK1402 pilot (version 3, draft) and are to be inserted here once final.
Affiliate relationships
Some content on creator profiles contains affiliate links: when someone buys through them, the creator and Mimesi may earn a commission. Such content is disclosed on the profile where it appears. This website contains no affiliate links, no product pages and no prices.
How to report a piece of content
If you think a piece of content from a Mimesi creator is not labelled as it should be, uses someone’s likeness without consent, or makes a claim about a product that is not true, write to report@mimesi.ai. Tell us where you saw it and what is wrong. We read every report and we answer. Response time and handling procedure to be confirmed with the legal advisor.
